An emergency worker was assaulted during the break-in in Cromwell Road and suffered facial injuries.
The alleged incident took place at 2.35am on Tuesday 4 December.
When police arrived at the home they found three men inside as well as the victim who was already hurt.
Reece Dadson, 18, of no fixed address, and Charlie Stutz, 20, of Darenth Lane, South Ockendon, have been charged with aggravated burglary and assaulting an emergency worker.
Brandon Garrett, 19, unemployed, of Gobions Avenue, Romford, has been charged with aggravated burglary.
They are due to appear at Basildon Magistrates court today.
