A recruitment open day will be held at the Queen’s Hospital on Saturday, 2 February by Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT).
“I’m learning so much here and I feel really supported so I would recommend that anyone looking for a nurse or midwife role to come along,” said newly qualified nurse, Patricia Kigozia.
She joined BHRUT last year and added: “I’m sure you’ll love working here as much as I do!”
Those that want to start a career in nursing will be able to talk to the current staff and managers about the support that’s available. They’ll also be told what to expect if they do find work as a nurse or midwife.
They’re looking for both newly qualified and experienced nurses and there’s a chance you’ll be offered a job on the spot. The event is also open to people who took a career break and are looking to return to the profession.
It runs from 9am to 2pm.
