Time 107.5’s Station Manager, Lorna Waters, with Adam Gordon and Tom Murtagh from Saint Francis Hospice
The Havering-atte-Bower based charity has officially launched its £50 Challenge, a competition our radio station is taking part in.
Local businesses have been given £50 each by the hospice to spend on fundraising initiatives in a 10-week period.
“The possibilities are endless really, it’s all about being as creative as possible,” said Tom Murtagh, from the hospice. “Because you have the 10 weeks, you have plenty of time to think of something.
“If you want to size up the competition and do something in the last week to scoop up the prize that’s fine too.”
Ideas so far include bake sales, quizzes, and family fun days but we are open to all weird and wonderful suggestions.
Do you have a proposal for how we can raise money? Would you like to team up with us to work together on an initiative? Or would you like to see one of our presenters take part in a challenge?
If you want to get in touch with an idea, email onair@time1075.net.
All money raised will go towards the charity’s work. To donate to our fundraiser for Saint Francis Hospice, click here.
