Gracie-Mae had 11 inches chopped off, which will now be used to make wigs for chilcren who have lost their hair as a result of cancer.
She was inspired after a friend’s mum was diagnosed, and got the idea to raise money for the Little Princess Trust after seeing one of the charity’s videos on YouTube.
She told Time 107.5: “It makes me feel happy because, when I was younger, I used to love my hair but now I’m doing a really good thing donating it.”
So far, Gracie has raised £1,561 but there are still some donations to collect.Tags: Havering, Rainham
