It happened on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junctions 30 and 29, heading towards the A127.
Three lanes are currently closed because a crane is needed to aid the recovery.
Traffic is queuing back into Kent, with congestion stretching back approximately 12 miles to junction 3 (M20).
It is currently taking around an hour and a half to get through the congested area.
Highways England also says traffic is being stopped before the Dartford Tunnel to ensure there are no queues inside.
#M25 #A282 #DartfordCrossing we are stopping traffic prior to the tunnels to ensure there is no traffic queuing inside the tunnels. This is due to the incident further ahead where lanes 1, 2 and 3 (of 4) are closed for recovery between J30 – J29.

There are also problems on the clockwise side between junctions 29 and 30 because a lorry’s tyre has exploded, casuing debris to be strewn across the road.
Two lanes are closed and cars can be seen queuing on the approach to that.Tags: M25
