It happened near the Barley Lane junction at around 1.30am this morning.
The driver and passenger of the car fled before police arrived.
A man in his 40s sustained a minor shoulder injury and a teenage girl was suffering from shock.
They were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance service as a precaution.
Currently at the A12 junction with Barley Lane.
RTC between 2 vehicles, one of which was travelling in the wrong direction on the westbound carriageway. Occupants of the suspect vehicle made off.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said an investigation has been started to locate the occupants of the Range Rover.
