Person found dead on tracks near Upney station

A person has died after being found on the tracks near Upney Station.

Paramedics attended after being called around 3.15am this morning but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries are taking place to establish their identity and the circumstances that led to them being on the tracks.
