Ricardus Tiskus is due to be deported after serving a 10 year sentence
Ricardus Tiskus, 39, sexually assaulted a stranger in her home, in Chadwell St Mary, last November.
The Lithuanian national will be deported after serving his sentence.
“Tiskus has shown no remorse for his actions and today a dangerous sexual predator will be locked in prison cell for many years,” said Detective Chief Inspector, Stuart Truss.
“I want to once again praise the victim for her bravery during the incident, our investigation and the trial.
“I hope today’s outcome will offer some justice to her as she courageously continues to rebuild her life.”
Tiskus raped the victim after breaking into her home on Friday, 23 November 2018.
She managed to call 999 during the sexual assault and shouted out for help.
Police rushed to the scene where they found him in the victims bedroom partially dressed.
He was found guilty of rape, attempted rape and criminal damage at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday and sentenced to 10 years in prison yesterday.Tags: Thurrock, Chadwell St Mary
