The crash happened yesterday afternoon.
The 38-year-old driver was involved in a head-on crash yesterday, involving his BMW car and a Mercedes van.
It happened in Goatswood Lane, near Church Road in Noak Hill, just before 4pm yesterday.
An air ambulance attended and the man was taken to Queen’s Hospital with injuries to his head and leg.
The man’s injuries were not life threatening or life changing, an Essex Police spokesperson confirmed.
Officers are investigating the collision, and witnesses are being asked to call Chigwell Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting incident 734 of May 22.
