Jodie died after in March being stabbed in a park.
The boy, who is from Barking, was charged today with murder and possession of a stun gun.
He was first arrested on Sunday, 10 March and initially released under investigation.
The boy will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 May.
Jodie, 17, died after being stabbed in Amy’s Park on Friday, 1 March.
Three other people have been charged with her murder.
Manuel Petrovic, 20, of Highfield Road, Collier Row, a 16-year-old boy from Romford, and Svenson Ong-a-kwie, 19, of Hillfoot Road, Collier Row are due to stand trial at the Old Bailey in September.
A 50-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been released under investigation.
