From Monday to Thursday there will be fashion themed fun, including craft workshops and catwalks of the latest summer styles along with children being able to take part in a design challenge to discover the next generation of fashionistas.
For a chance to win a £50 Liberty Gift Card they will be invited to sketch their perfect summer outfits and showcase their design talents in creative workshops.
On Friday there will the ‘One Great Day’ charity event from 11am-4pm where children will be able to take part in a confidence building fashion workshop and be able to strut their stuff in a fun-filled charity catwalk parade.
It is in aid of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and the centre’s charity of the year, Cancer Research UK Children’s Cancers.
Donations can be made throughout the day to support these two charities.
The fashion show weekend will follow on Saturday and Sunday with some of The Liberty’s 100+ stores showcasing the latest trends in a series of high energy runway performances.
Both days will feature four catwalk shows with each one including the latest summer arrivals from some of the centre’s stores with the most current styling tips from the fashion industry.
Every item included in the shows will be clearly marked in the centre’s stores, making it easy to grab the latest summertime pieces straight from the catwalk. Special offers and discounts will be available throughout the weekend to shoppers.
Shoppers will also be in with a chance to win a £200 Liberty gift card by simply entering their details on The Liberty website.
The Liberty Shopping Centre Manager, Jonathan Poole, said: “The Liberty May Fashion Events promise to be an exciting weeklong experience to entertain both children and adults. Families are encouraged to get creative with the fashion fun activities available and see some of the fantastic new season collections on offer in the centre’s numerous fashion stores.”
