Suspects aged between 17 and 61 have been detained.
Police were called at 9.25pm on Tuesday, 28 May to reports of a group of males armed with knives and bats at Porters Avenue.
When officers arrived, those involved had already left but it was established that a fight had taken place both outside and inside the fast food venue.
Around 20 minutes later, police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Eastern Avenue, Ilford, where two males had suffered knife wounds.
Three other males at the address had suffered minor injuries that were not knife related.
The five of them were taken to a hospital but their injuries were not life-threatening.
Following enquiries by police, eight males, including the five from the Eastern Avenue address, were arrested on suspicion of GBH.
Their ages range from 17 to 61.
All eight have been released on police bail to return on a date in late June.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or has information but has not yet spoken with police is asked to call East Area Command on 101 quoting 7994/28MAY, Tweet @MetCC or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
