36-year-old, Jaroslaw Reszyczynski has been ordered to pay £265 after being prosecuted by Redbridge Council.
The man was caught in broad daylight urinating while standing facing a wall in an alleyway between shops.
“Urinating in public is indecent, unhygienic and unacceptable,” said council leader, Jas Athwal.
“We won’t tolerate this kind of behaviour and neither will our residents who follow the rules.
“Our message is very clear: We are working very hard to keep our town centres safe and pleasant places to visit and we will continue to take tough action against people who selfishly spoil our streets for everyone else.”
Reszyczynski pleaded guilty to urinating in public in breach of a public spaces protection order.
He was given a fine of £150 and costs of £85 by Barkingside Magistrates’ Court. A victim surcharge of £30 was also imposed.
He was sentenced before the court after failing to pay his original fixed penalty notice issued by the enforcement officer at the time of the offence.Tags: Redbridge, Ilford
