Four plead not guilty to Jodie Chesney’s murder

Four people accused of murdering Jodie Chesney have pleaded not guilty to her murder.

The 17-year-old from Dagenham died after suffering stab wounds in Amy’s Park, Harold Hill, in March.

Manuel Petrovic, 20, of Highfield Road, Collier Row, a 16-year-old boy from Romford, and Svenson Ong-a-kwie, 19, of Hillfoot Road, Collier Row are all been charged with murder.

A 17-year-old boy from Barking is charged with murder and possession of a prohibited weapon. 

All four appeared at the Old Bailey this morning via video link for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

They all denied the charges and are due to go on trial on Monday, 2 September.
