His body was discovered in Ambleside Avenue yesterday morning and investigators are treating the death as suspicious.
A Met Police spokesperson confirmed officers were contacted by the London Ambulance Service at around 11.40am on Wednesday, 14 August.
He added: “A man had been found inside the property and was sadly pronounced deceased by medics at the scene.
“Next of kin have been informed.”
The death is currently being treated as suspicious and Specialist Crime officers have been informed.
A post-mortem will be carried out to ascertain the victim’s cause of death and an investigation is underway.
