The victims were not injured but left feeling very shaken
The victims had arrived home yesterday afternoon and discovered three men, all armed with iron bars, stealing jewellery.
The suspects then pushed one of the women to the floor and dragged the other by her hair.
They demanded cash and watches from the women but then left on foot with just the jewellery.
Police say the incident happened in Tysea Hill at around 3.40pm on Thursday, 29 August.
They added that the suspects left in the direction of Horseman Side.
In a statement, Essex Police said: “The men are believed to be in their 20s but had their faces covered. They spoke with Irish accents.
“The victims were not injured but are, understandably, very shaken by the incident.”
