Rahul Malhi was discovered at a house in The Drive last Thursday.
The 43-year-old was found inside the address with wrist and neck injuries, but further examinations are required to ascertain the exact circumstances of his death, police say.
A woman, who was found in a garden with serious neck injuries, is believed to be 31-years-old.
She is originally from Lithuania and, although she has not yet been formally identified, her family has been informed.
A post-mortem has given her cause of death as stab wounds to the neck and chest.
Investigators believe the pair were known to each other and they are not seeking to make any arrests.
