The stolen car was set on fire in May
The blaze broke out on Thursday, 23 May, just before midnight, in Belgrave Road.
CCTV footage shows the vehicle, a stolen blue Citroen, being driven into the road at 9.23pm that evening and being parked on the pavement.
The driver got out and walked off but, 12 minutes later, he came back and walked down the road past the car.
He then re-appeared at 10.12pm, carrying an object in his hand, and tried to smash the front windscreen.
But the object bounced back and fell to the floor. He then picked up a rock from the ground and threw it at the window and kicked it with his foot.
Petrol was then poured from a can into the car and on the bonnet.
The suspect continued to pour petrol on the pavement, leaving a trail which he set alight, before fleeing.
Police say the suspect is a white man, who was wearing a dark colour bomber jacket, grey t-shirt and blue jeans.
No arrests have been made.
