Jodie Chesney: Jury to be selected for murder trial

The trial is due to begin at The Old Bailey this week

Jurors are set to be sworn in today ahead of the trial of four people accused of murdering Jodie Chesney in Harold Hill.

The 17-year-old, from Dagenham, died in Amy’s Park in March.

Manuel Petrovic, 20, of Highfield Road, Collier Row, Svenson Ong-a-kwie, 19, of Hillfoot Road, Collier Row, a 16-year-old boy from Romford, and a 17-year-old from Barking have all previously pleaded not guilty to Jodie’s murder.

Their trial will begin this week at The Old Bailey, with the jurors set to be selected today.
