Bogus tree surgeons targetting elderly people in Havering

Police tweeted the warning this morning

A warning has been issued by local police over two bogus tree surgeons who are stealing from elderly residents in Havering.

The pair, who are both described as white men, have been working together to steal valuable items from residents.

The first man takes victims into their garden to discuss work, while the second person enters their home and takes their possessions.

Police are urging residents to be vigilant.
