Keith Flint’s personal belongings are being auctioned to help pay off debt from his estate.

The Prodigy frontman, who was from Redbridge, passed away at the age of 49 in March this year.

More than 170 lots will be offered at the event, held at Cheffins Fine Art auction house in Cambridge, to pay off liabilities following his death.

Items available will include much of Keith’s personal clothing, jewellery and body jewellery.

The iconic double cone septum nose piercing that he was regularly seen wearing both on and off stage is also included in the lots.

“The sale is full of interesting items which give an insight into Keith’s personal life and highlight the difference between his stage persona and his private life,” the Director at Cheffins Fine Art, Martin Millard, said.

“Valuing items with such provenance is almost impossible, and therefore we will not be publishing any pre-sale estimates, but expect there to be lots to cater to most budgets”

A number of music awards and presentation discs from around the world, commemorating the Prodigy’s global success, as well as an archive of music recordings and studio reels will be available.

There will be items of his clothing showing his love of Japanese clothing brand ‘Bathing Ape’ including a number of hoodies, T-shirts and shirts.

Additionally, contemporary furniture and artworks from Mr Flint’s home will be included in the event.

The event is taking place on Thursday, 7 November.
