Arson appeal after fence in Grays set alight

Police are appealing for information and dash cam footage following an arson in Grays, where a fence belonging to a business, was set alight.

Officers were called at around 1.45am on Tuesday, 8 October to reports of three men seen throwing a bottle full of accelerant onto the fence on Manor Road.

A spokesperson from Essex Police said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or knows of anyone who suffered either burns or injuries to their hands.

“We would like to hear form anyone with dash cam footage.

“Please call Grays CID on 101 quoting crime reference 42/160315/19 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
