Brewster celebrating Liverpool’s Champions League win June (credit: Liverpool FC)
The 19-year-old striker, who is from Chadwell Heath, made his competitive debut for the Anfield side last month in an EFL Cup match against MK Dons.
He was also on the bench as Liverpool beat Chelsea and now has his sights set out getting more action for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Speaking to Sky Sports News about his aims for the rest of this season, Brewster said: “Hopefully get some game time in the first team, cup games and Premier League hopefully, and helping the team win trophies.”
“It’s hard you know, because of the front three (Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio ManĂ©), to get game time. They’re all amazing players, it’s going to be difficult but you need to keep going.”
Brewtser added that he is not disappointed by his lack of progress into the first team, saying: “It’s just waiting for my chance, hoping it’s going to be sooner rather than later. You just have to be patient and wait for your turn. And obviously the boss has a plan for me and he knows what he’s doing, clearly!
“He’s saying ‘Just be patient, you’re time will come, it will happen,’ and I’m just waiting and just being patient.”
