40-year-old, Iron Miah was murdered in Whitechapel
Police were called to Nelson Street on Tuesday, 19 November after a man, named as Iron Miah, was found collapsed with a head injury.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
The victim was taken to hospital but died on Thursday, 21 November.
His next of kin are being supported by specialist officers.
A post-mortem examination held on Monday, 25 November determined the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.
An investigation by homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command is underway.
On Sunday, 24 November, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He is currently in police custody.
On the same day, a 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been released on bail until a date in late December.
On Monday, 25 November, a 40-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder. She has been released on bail until a date in mid-December.
