Second man charged for fatal shooting in Leyton

A second man has been charged for the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old male in Leyton.

Edison Brahimi, from Islington, was arrested on Friday, 6 December on suspicion of murder.

Grineo Daka was killed and two other people were injured inside Phoenix Snooker Club, in Lea Bridge Road, at around 3am on Sunday, 7 July.

The 29-year-old man was taken to a south London police station and was charged on Saturday, 7 December.

He’s due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 9 December.

Liridon Saliuka, 29, of no fixed abode, was also charged on Tuesday, 16 July with murder, possession of a firearm and grievous bodily harm with intent.
