Dagenham teenager charged with numerous offences following Chadwell St Mary burglary

The teenager appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court yesterday

A 17-year-old boy from Dagenham has been charged with numerous offences following reports of a burglary in Chadwell St Mary.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged following reports a car was taken after a burglary in Wickham Road overnight on Friday, 7 February.

He appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The charges include taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, burglary and driving without insurance.

He was remanded to appear at court on Monday, 6 April.
