Man who died in A127 crash near Brentwood named by police

A man who died in a collision on the A127 near Brentwood early yesterday morning has been named.

Colin Carle, 33 and from Grays, passed away after a crash between a Vauxhall Astra and a lorry near the Halfway House junction.

Emergency services were alerted to the collision at around 2am on Thursday, 4 June.

In a statement, Essex Police said: “Investigations in to the collision are continuing and we would appeal for any witnesses or anyone who has dash cam footage or CCTV to contact us if they have not done so already.
