A police cordon was set up in Wilmington Gardens
A 24-year-old man was shot in Wilmington Gardens on Thursday, 4 June. He is in a critical condition in hospital.
The suspect, who is 26, was detained in West Ealing yesterday.
A second person was also injured during the incident but police say his injuries, which were not caused by the gunshot, were less serious.
Investigators are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A 16-year-old boy, who was arrested on suspicion of affray on the day of the shooting, has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
