Cyclist taken to hospital after collision with bus in Dagenham

The incident happened at the Lodge Avenue Junction 

A woman has been taken to hospital after her bike collided with a bus in Dagenham.

The incident happened this morning at around 6.30am, on the A13 Ripple Road, at the Lodge Avenue junction.

The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment. She is not thought to be seriously injured.

The approach to the flyover and slip road to the roundabout were blocked for over an hour.

No arrests have been made.

Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
