Man found with serious head injury in Epping

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was found with a head injury in Epping.

Essex Police attended to the man in Station Road at around 2.35am this morning.

He has been taken to hospital where he is in a potentially life-threatening condition, according to police.

Officers initially shut Station Road while they investigated the circumstances of his injuries.

They now believe that no-one else was involved and the man was injured as the result of a fall.
