Appeal following assault on staff member at Barking station

Police have released a CCTV image after a member of staff at Barking railway station was assaulted.

The suspect was challenged by security staff for not having a valid ticket on Saturday, 16 May.

She then proceeded to assault the member of staff.

Police are appealing to find the woman in the image who may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone with information on her identity, is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 260 of 16/05/20.
