Emergency services rushed to the road, near the junction with Parsloes Avenue and Reede Road, at around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
Police say the woman is not in a life-threatening condition.
Initially, there were conflicting reports about the gender of the person injured; the London Ambulance Service told Time 107.5 it was a man but a Met Police spokesperson has confirmed the victim is a woman.
No arrests have been made but police are investigating the incident, including trying to ascertain how the woman sustained the injuries.
