Boy, 16, caught driving car on the A13 in Havering

A 16-year-old boy has been caught by police driving on a busy dual carriageway in Havering.

The teenager was stopped by officers on the A13 after it was seen “hogging the middle lane.”

The boy then lied about his identity.

Officers from #EastCVU were on the #A13 @MPSHavering when this Astra was lane hogging the middle lane

Upon stopping the vehicle the driver continued to lie about who he was as he was only 16 years old!

Police say the teenager has been reported for various offences.

The vehicle he was driving, a Vauxhall Astra, has been seized.
