Toddler in hospital after falling from building in Poplar

A toddler has been taken to hospital after falling from height, from a building in Poplar.

Police were called to the residential property in East India Dock Road yesterday evening at 6.45pm.

The injured boy has been transferred to a specialist hospital.

He is in a critical but stable condition.

Road closures were put in place at the Chrisp Street and Newby Place junctions.

Any witnesses or those with dash cam footage should call police ref CAD 6419/27 July.
