Police were called to the incident in Longbridge Road this morning
The incident happened in Longbridge Road, near Barking Park, just before 5am this morning.
The victim was taken to hospital by LAS with a head injury. His condition has been assessed as non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made.
Road closures were in place throughout the morning between Gurdwara Way roundabout and Wakering Road.
