Appeal to identify man following armed robbery at Brentwood petrol station

Do you recognise this man?

An appeal has been launched after an armed man stole a till from a petrol station shop in Brentwood.

A man entered Tesco Express in London Road at around 12.45am yesterday, armed with a knife.

He left with a till containing a four-figure sum of cash. It was later found in an alleyway next to the shop containing a few coins.

It is believed the suspect, who was around 5’4″ tall and slim, ran off towards Rollason Way.

Essex Police has released an image of a man that investigators would like to talk to as part of their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises this person, or has information or has dash cam footage of the incident, is asked to call Brentwood CID on 101, quoting crime reference 42/134754/20.
