Two due in court after 17-year-old allegedly attacked in Lakeside

The man and boy are accused of assaulting a 17-year-old in Thurrock 

Two people are due to appear in court after a teenager was allegedly attacked with a baseball bat in Lakeside. 

The 17-year-old suffered a broken elbow after reportedly being assaulted in a Subway inside the shopping centre on 29 August 2019. 

Scott Stanley, 42, from Homerton, and a 14-year-old boy are due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 18 September. 

They are charged with possession of an offensive weapon and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
