The former Orient manager, who sadly passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in June 2019, made 276 appearances for Spurs during his playing career.
Tomorrow evening’s match in the third round of the Carabao Cup will be the first time the two sides have met in a competitive game in nearly 20 years, and has been dubbed by fans of both sides “the Justin Edinburgh Derby.”
Money raised from the shirt auction will help the JE3 Foundation, set up by Justin’s son Charlie, support heart health charities and continue to campaign for a so-called ‘Justin’s Law’, which aims to make it compulsory for all health, fitness, and sports facilities to be equipped with a defibrillator.
Charlie said: “The support we have received and continue to receive from Tottenham Hotspur fills us with pride as a family at just how much Dad meant to the club and its supporters.
“The funds raised from the shirt auction will go a long way to assisting the JE3 Foundation in raising awareness around CPR and use of defibrillators, contributing towards our campaigning for ‘Justin’s Law’.
“The JE3 Foundation and the Edinburgh family once again sincerely thank all those who continue to support us.”
The supporters’ trusts for Orient and Spurs have also teamed up to encourage online donations in lieu of fans being able to attend the match at Brisbane Road.
Tuesday’s match would have been a chance for #lofc and #Spurs fans to celebrate the life of Justin Edinburgh. As we can’t be in the ground, @thstofficial and @lofanstrust are asking supporters of both Clubs to make a donation to the @JE3Foundation instead.https://t.co/qecvNQnj67

Spurs says details on how to bid for shirts will be released in the coming days.
There is now concern that the game won’t go ahead after “a number” of Orient players tested positive for coronavirus.
