A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after a collision in Brentwood.

The crash happened in London Road, shortly after 6.10am this morning (Tuesday, 20 October).

A man in his 30s, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

London Road remains closed between Honeypot Lane (North Weald side) and the petrol garage.

Diversions are in place but Police have asked drivers to avoid the area where possible.

In a tweet, Essex Police said: “The whole area access to the A12 & M25 will be closed for some time, also affecting buses.”
