Lorry and van crash on the M11 northbound, blocking entry to the motorway

The M11 has one lane blocked on the northbound carriageway at the junction with the M25 following a collision involving a lorry and a van.

Traffic is also being held on the entry slip road, after the crash this morning.

It is causing delays on the M11 back to junction five for Loughton, and also on the M25 anticlockwise to junction 28 for the A12.

UPDATE – M11 northbound at J6 (M25) one lane blocked by an accident involving a lorry and a car. The northbound entry slip road from the anticlockwise M25 to the M11 is also blocked. Queues on M11 northbound back to J5 (Loughton) and on M25 anticlockwise back towards J28 (A12).

Fire crews are working to recover the lorry, which appears to have fallen onto its side.

Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have both confirmed no one was injured in the collision.
