Council leader Jas Athwal will be among the panellists answering questions
Health officials and politicians will be discussing Covid-19, and also take questions from the borough’s residents.
It is being streamed live from 6pm tomorrow.
You can find out more about the meeting on the Redbridge Council website.
The Leader of the Council, Councillor Jas Athwal, said: “We’re hosting a virtual public meeting on Covid-19 to share critical information on how we can all stay safe with local people, faith groups and business and community groups.
“Sharing information and guidance and supporting one another is key to keeping our friends, family members, and neighbours safe this winter, so please join the call and find out what our council and public health teams are doing to stop the spread of the virus and how you can play a role in saving lives.
“There will be a Q&A section of the meeting, so if you or someone you know has any questions, this is the perfect opportunity to ask them and find out the facts about Covid-19.”
Cllr Mark Santos, Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care, Mental Health & the Ageing, said: “Cases of Covid-19 are rising in Redbridge, and across London, and so now more than ever, it is so important that we all follow scientific advice and do everything we can to stop the spread of the virus.
“Now Redbridge is in Tier 2, and high Covid restrictions apply, we want to explain what this means for local people, businesses, and community groups. Please join the virtual public meeting and share your experiences, questions, and ideas with our council and public health experts.”
Also on the panel will be Gladys Xavier, the Director of Public Health at Redbridge Council.
