Woman taken to hospital with back injury following Emerson Park crash

An elderly pedestrian has been taken to hospital after suffering a back injury in a collision in Emerson Park.

Emergency services rushed to Wingletye Lane at around 9.50am today following the crash that involved a car and an 84-year-old woman.

A Met Police spokesperson says her injuries have been assessed as non-life-changing.

Wingletye Lane was closed for a few hours but has since reopened.
