Santa will be talking to children on Microsoft Teams
Many of Santa’s usual grottos will not be able to operate this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
To help protect himself, the elves and the other occupants of the North Pole, he has teamed up with our local hospitals to spread Christmas spirit.
Marina Sherriff, the fundraising office manager at the King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity, said: “We realised that due to the pandemic many children would not be able to enjoy visiting Father Christmas this year. And as we needed to come up with some innovative ways to raise money for our hospitals, we thought organising for Father Christmas himself to call the children via video chat would be perfect!
“The donations for bookings will help us provide special extras for our patients this Christmas, such an ensuring everyone in hospital over the festive period receives a present. And can you imagine the faces of your children when they realise that Santa has called to speak to them personally?”
Santa’s elves will be helping to arrange the video chats, which can be booked for a donation of £10.
They will take place using Microsoft Teams, and can be booked by emailing email@example.com for a booking form.
His elves will then be in touch to arrange the date and time and to accept your donation. Father Christmas will have all the information needed to make this a very special and magical experience!
