A 15-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a teenager in Hutton.

Police were called to Roundwood Avenue after a fight broke out between a group of boys at around 4.30pm on Sunday, 21 March.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed during the altercation.

He was taken to hospital with a serious arm injury.

His condition is no longer being treated as life-threatening.

Police have charged a 15-year-old boy from Wickford with GBH with intent, assault by beating and possession of a knife.
