One of the males sustained a leg injury
Officers started the pursuit after noticing two people on a suspected stolen motorcycle in Park Avenue, in Cranbrook, at around 1.10pm today.
For nearly two hours, residents across the three boroughs could hear sirens as police attempted to apprehend the males.
The National Police Air Service provided assistance as a helicopter was called in to help track the suspects.
Officers made tactical contact with the vehicle and brought it to a stop in Gloucester Road, at the junction with Romford Road, at around 3.10pm.
Two males were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and for failing to stop for police.
One of them, aged in his 20s, sustained a leg injury and was taken to hospital prior to police custody.
There were no reported injuries to members of the public.
