Teenager rushed to hospital after stabbing in Walthamstow

A 16-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Walthamstow.

The teenager was found with stab wounds to his neck and leg, in Billet Road at around 3.46pm yesterday.

Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service and the London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene.

The victim has been taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as non-life threatening.

A Section 60 search authority has been implemented covering the whole E17 postcode until 4pm today as investigations continue.

There have been no arrests made.

A road closure was in place between North Countess Road to Durban Road for several hours after the incident. The stretch has re-opened.
