The collision happened near the junction with Evanston Gardens, at around 8.30pm on Monday, 12 April.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
A 40-year-old man was found with a head injury and was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition where he remains.
His next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
There have been no arrests made and enquiries are ongoing.
Police are keen to hear from anybody who was in the area and saw the collision.
Anybody with information or dashcam footage is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 6880/12Apr.
