The 16-year-old victim was stabbed to death in Church Road on Friday, 7 May.
Rakeem Green-Matthews, 18, of Romford, is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 19 May charged with murder.
Police also detained an 18-year-old man on suspicion of murder yesterday. He remains in custody at an east London police station.
Three other males have previously been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the attack.
A 15-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and Joshua Kerr, 18, of Romford, were both arrested on the day of the murder. Callum Hands, 19, of Romford, was detained two days later.
All three are next due to appear in court at the Old Bailey on Friday, 30 July.
Two other males arrested on suspicion of murder and another detained on suspicion of affray have been released on bail to return at a date in early June.
Detectives are still investigating the attack and are appealing for anyone with information to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 6572/07May.
