Two men, in their 20s, were attacked in High Street at around 1.20am on Saturday, 29th May.
One man was attacked inside a property and the other on the street outside.
The victim’s sustained stab wounds to their legs, and have been taken to hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are not life-threatening.
Connor Webb, 24, of Pedro Street, Hackney has been charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today.
Two men, aged 21 and 22, both from London, were arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed to return on Friday, 25 June.
