Officers responded to reports of a fight in St Mary’s Lane at around 4.20pm on Sunday, 30 May.
When they arrived at the scene they found a man with a stab wound to his hand.
The 53-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment. His injury is not life-changing or life-threatening.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and no arrests have been made so far.
